- A yearly limitEvery plan caps what you pay out of pocket for covered services in a year.
- You keep paying Part BYour Part B premium continues, plus the plan’s premium if it has one.
- Plans change each yearCosts, networks, and drug lists can change every January.
Questions we go over with you
- Are my doctors in the network?Including the specialists and the hospital you would want.
- Are my prescriptions covered? And what each one would cost on the plan.
- What would a hospital stay cost me?The copays that matter when something happens.
- What if I travel? How the plan handles care away from home.
When you can join or switch
- When you first get Medicare: during your Initial Enrollment Period around your 65th birthday.
- Every fall: October 15 to December 7, for coverage that starts January 1.
- January 1 to March 31: if you are already on a Medicare Advantage plan, you can switch plans or return to Original Medicare once.
